Marketing and Media Projects with Teenagers – Hua Hin Kaona Villa
Kaona Villa runs technology and media courses, including web development, marketing, web design, project management, and foreign languages.
The Programme March - April 2026
Two groups of teenagers aged 13–17 will be selected to work on real projects alongside a professional creative and consulting team.
Objective
The goal is to transmit knowledge, method, professional standards, and realistic facts about how work functions inside a company. This is aimed at a new generation of teenagers whose current experience is often limited to virtual school projects that are disconnected from reality, or homeschool environments.
The projects in this programme are online, will credit the participants, and will operate under the quality requirements of a real professional service.
What Participants Will Learn
- Professional working and collaboration tools: email clients, project management software, professional group communication platforms
- How to search, find, and extract data and information
- How to present and use data and information effectively
- Workshop on AI tools and how to use them
- Workshop on AI versus traditional search engines
- The full creative process, from concept to realisation: video, film, and website production
Professional Standards Expected Participants will be expected to meet the standards of a modern professional collaborator:
- Punctuality
- Commitment
- Time management
- Personal standards and self-discipline
- Satisfaction derived from the quality of work and results produced
- Responsible and correct use of AI tools
- Confidentiality
- Clear and professional written communication
- Ability to take and apply feedback
- Respect for deadlines and project milestones
Cost This programme is offered at no charge to participants
To put this in perspective: the courses and professional experience provided here would typically cost several hundred dollars if purchased through a training institution or online platform. Web development, project management, video production, and marketing courses each represent significant market value on their own.
Kaona Villa is associated with a professional Creative Design and Consulting firm that produces all of this content independently as part of its normal business activity. Involving teenagers in that process slows it down, but also makes it more valuable as a learning experience. For that reason, this programme should be understood as a complete, free course offer — designed to launch the Kaona Villa Youth Centre and its innovative approach to practical education.
Participants are not hired as workers and this is not a paid internship. They are given access to a real working environment, real projects, and real professional standards — at no cost.
What participants receive in return for their time and commitment:
- Hands-on experience on live, published projects
- Exposure to professional tools and workflows used in real companies
- Direct mentoring from working professionals
- A completed project they can reference or show to schools, universities, or future employers
This is not a paid internship and teenagers are not hired as workers. It is a structured learning opportunity built around real projects, offered free of charge in place of a paid course.
